Our History

The show has been a longstanding feature of the community, made up of the five parishes of Abberton, Langenhoe, Peldon, Great and Little Wigborough for over 90 years. Starting as a horticultural show to allow local agricultural workers to show off their prize produce, it has developed into a country show with horticultural, domestic and children’s competitions, commercial and charity stalls, all day main ring entertainment and plenty of food and drink.
