Please note, exhibits are to be staged by 2.00 p.m. on Saturday 1st August 2026.

Please look at the classes below and tick each one you would like to enter. Fill in the form below, tick the consent box at the bottom and then click on the Submit button on the bottom right of the page. 

If you have an extra entry after the cut-off date, bring it with you before 11.30am on Saturday 1st August and we will endeavour to help you stage it along with your other entries. 

Please see no. 14 for new rules on admission.

1. The Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry, the Judges will be empowered to withhold prizes if they consider the exhibits do not merit them and the judges’ decision is final.

2. Every specimen must have been grown or made by the Exhibitor, except in the Floral Arrangement section. For the purposes of this rule, members of the same household may exhibit produce from the same garden or greenhouse. The Committee reserves the right to examine the garden or greenhouse of any Exhibitor before or after the Show.

3. Exhibitors using any means to deceive the Judges will forfeit all prizes and be debarred from competing in any future competition.

4. The closing date for entries is Wednesday 30th July 2025. Entries should be submitted electronically by email to the address given, via the form on the website or paper copies sent to any of the Schedule Sub-Committee listed on the page opposite the Entry Form. Phone entries will not be accepted. 

5. The Show Ground will be open to Exhibitors at 10.00.a.m. on Sat 2nd August. Exhibits are to be staged by 2.00 p.m. Judging will commence at 2.15 p.m. No unauthorised person to be allowed in the tent while judging is in progress. 

6. Any objection raised by an Exhibitor must be made in writing to the Hon. Secretary by 12 noon on Sunday 3rd August. The decision of the Committee is final. 

7. The Prize Money will be paid by the Treasurer on the Show Ground after 4.30 p.m. on Sunday 3rd August. Any prize money not claimed within seven days shall be forfeited. No exhibit may be taken away before 5.00 p.m. on Sunday 3rd August.    

8. No exhibitor may enter more than one exhibit in each class, except Farmers Classes A-J where two entries may be made in each class. Each entry must be from a different field or variety.

9. Judging in the vegetable and flower classes will be according to the R.H.S. Rules for Judging, if number not specified on entry.

10. Entry to all classes is free.

11. Whilst the Committee will take all reasonable steps to prevent loss or damage to exhibits, they cannot be held in any way responsible for same, and the placing of an entry in the Show Tent implies the acceptance of these rules and conditions by the Exhibitor.

12. Affiliated Group members must put the name of their group on the Entry Form. If omitted, points will not be counted for the Group Challenge Cups. 1st, 2nd or 3rd prizes awarded will gain 3, 2 and 1 points respectively for their Groups.

13. Children are welcome to enter adult classes but they will be judged as adult entries and their age will not be displayed.

14. EARLY BIRD TICKETS : available up to midnight of the day before (Saturday): Adult £10 (no concessions) and Children £4

(A child is 16 and under)
3 and under free.

ADULT EXHIBITOR: £6
CHILD EXHIBITOR TICKET : Free

When the Adult or child stages their exhibit they will be given an exhibitor pass from the secretaries table on the Saturday before the show. They will need to show this AND their purchased ticket to gain entry on Sunday at the discounted price.

If, for any reason, an exhibitor’s ticket has been purchased and the person is not able to exhibit in the show, they will be asked to pay the difference between the exhibitor’s ticket and the Early Bird ticket when they arrive at the gate.
